For many people a company’s website is where they get their first impression. We go to it to find background about a company and their services or products; to find where they are and to get a map, and maybe to find a contact name.
Our philosophy is to keep everything clean and simple – simple navigation, and visuals and text which give clarity. We also conform to standards which make a site accessible for the visual impaired and their screen readers. It is tempting to overload and over complicate a site and that only leads to frustration for the viewer.
As I write this copy I am only too aware how difficult it is to précis your ideas down to a few paragraphs. Less is more as the saying goes.
It is also tempting to design a site which is too ambitious. Our recommendation is to start with the basics and build over time. And because a website needs constant attention make sure there are sections which can be updated regularly.
