Multimedia, multi-use is a concept we encourage.
When you film for a specific project you are creating a library of footage which can be used in other productions. Over the years, and we tend to work for companies for years, this resource builds up so that new filming is not always necessary.
It’s also worth bearing in mind that a production can be modified for multi-platforms and audiences.
A documentary-style case study of ten minutes, for example, can be re-edited into smaller sections for use on websites or within presentations. Bid presentations are generally very short so a long video is not appropriate but in other circumstances, such as a recruitment event, the longer version is perfect. You can turn one production into many for minimal cost and make the most of your budget.
We have found that a marketing, exhibition or bid video can also be re-packaged for internal communications such as inductions, team briefings or training, and of course the intranet or website. Joining corporate budgets can be a very cost efficiency way of sharing costs for multiple benefit.
