Aerial footage looks great when done well. Basically there are three options:

• • Record handheld in helicopters and planes. This is the cheapest solution but inevitably filming is not very smooth.
  
  
• • Record using a camera mount attached to the plane. This provides greater stability.
  
  
• • Hire the latest equipment with a camera mounted in the nose of the plane with a “gyro” stabilising device to make everything smooth. More expensive but impressive.
