CD Video

Video on CD is very flexible. It can be viewed on most computers but of course you need a soundcard and speakers to hear audio.

A CD with a play facility contains files which can be downloaded to hard drives and added to Power Point presentations. Playback is compatible with PCs and MACs.

You can have an auto-run programme on a CD but it requires a bit more programming to make it dual compatible.

CDs can have interactive programmes with a full mix of text, photographs, graphics, sound and video. A CD has less space than a DVD and only about half-an-hour of video can be included compared with up to 2 hours on a single sided DVD.
