Health
Our work in the health sector is wide and varied. We have filmed in dozens of General, Mental Health and Secure hospitals in the public and private sectors, and we are very familiar with the sensitivities of filming in such environments. We are very respectful yet persuasive in gaining co-operation from those involved and have filmed in several operating theatres during live procedures. Consent forms are always on hand to verify permission to film.
Recent work has seen us film at hospitals in Cambridge, Norwich, Kingston, Bristol, Frome, Newcastle, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Chelmsford, Frome, Yeovil, Cardiff, Bridgewater and Glastonbury.
Training
Health organisations have mandatory responsibilities to train staff in key functions such as infection control, medical devices, child protection, and consent. Following the production of a highly successful training module on infection control, Somerset PCT commissioned White Hart to produce a series of units covering other key topics. As part of the package we developed an on-line questionnaire to demonstrate understanding by participants.
Patient Case studies
We are very proud of the work we have done recording patient’s journeys. Projects with companies like Priory and Robinia have produced case studies of incredible power. These brave interviewees, combating conditions such as mental illness, brain damage, addiction and autism, have illustrated the transformation that can be achieved. Some videos are inspirational.
Information
PFI/PPP
We are very familiar with the PFI/PPP process for hospitals and have been involved in communication projects at Addenbrooke Hospital, Cambridge; Kingston Hospital, London; Norfolk and Norwich Hospital; Roseberry Park, Middlesbrough; Royal Victoria Infirmary and Freeman Hospitals and Newcastle-on-Tyne.
Procure 21
As part of a trading agreement with Laing O’Rourke, we provide site inductions and case studies for all their hospital contracts in their Wales and West region secured under Procure 21. We have completed four projects in Bristol and Frome, and have another seven either underway or in the pipeline.
Mobilisation into New Health Facilities
When a new hospital or health centre is completed the task of transferring staff into the new facility can be daunting. Working with Somerset PCT White Hart developed a mobilisation/induction video to help familiarise transferring staff with the new Frome Community Hospital and its systems and procedures.
The DVD contained detailed training modules on topics such as infection control, fire regulations, the use of gases and other specialist equipment for staff which needed more information or had a duty to cascade information to others.
The video was used in conjunction with tours and training sessions but one of its key advantages is as a re-useable reference point and to induct new staff.
