PowerPoint Presentations

Be honest, PowerPoint Presentations are usually very predictable and boring. Most presenters cram them full of information and read them like a script, while the visuals are often over complicated and confused. The end result of all this visual and information offload is that your audience doesn’t take in half as much as they should do.

Presentations should be clear and compelling, and you need to make sure the audience isn’t given the opportunity to get ahead of the point you are making. Keep it simple.

Often presenters hand our copies of their slides afterwards as reference but why not add your own commentary to the slides with a mute button option. When you are presenting you can press mute and it’s a normal slide show, but play audio and it will give the users commentary while auto-changing the slides to fit what is being said.

Adding video, graphics or animations will add interest and variety.
