Photography Explained

Most of our clients have their own photographs. They may have had some taken for a brochure, display boards or their website. If they are of high quality (taken on a 3 mega pixel camera or above) we can re-use them in a multimedia package. You can email them to us using formats, such as .jpegs, .tifs, .picts or .bmps or post a CD.

Remember that Landscape framing works best for screens but if Portrait framing is of high enough resolution we can zoom in on an important detail and fill the screen. We can also incorporate Portrait framing into graphics with space alongside for text.

Photographs can be mixed with video effectively using graphics or by zooming or panning within the photograph to give the illusion of movement. The technique ensures that photographs don’t jar as poor alternatives to video.

White Hart provides an in-house photographic service but usually it is supplied as a supplement to filming assignments. The dual service is ideal for clients wanting to cut costs.
