Conventional programmes are linear. You start at the beginning and watch until the end. Interactivity hands some control to the user. They navigate to areas which are of particular interest to them.
So the art is to make sure that all viewers see the things you want them to see and then give them options to explore in more detail.
Navigation should be simple and obvious.
The first task is to establish your content and design an infrastructure to accommodate it. Then the interface pages are designed, which become templates for the menus and individual pages.
Many clients take the opportunity to place information already available in print or the Web onto an interactive disc. We greatly encourage this multi-use of multimedia.
