Commentary

Who provides the commentary? Male or female, young or old, with an accent or not, unknown or celebrity, staff member or professional artiste, light and bright or deep and with gavatis…it’s your choice?

White Hart has its own in-house recording booth where commentary is supervised by a Director to ensure scripts are delivered clearly, precisely and with the right emphasis.

Many of our productions are “voiced” by Director John Brooks, a former BBC radio and television reporter. An advantage is that John provides commentary as part of his Director fee and does not charge additional fees for re-recordings, which makes this approach cheaper and quicker than using outside voice-over experts.

In interactive programmes and presentations we can provide a mute button so presenters can provide the commentary live or leave it to the recording.
